5 More Foundations I Like…

Since my Top 5 Foundations post went down so well (thank you!) I decided to continue on the foundation series with some more foundations I like. I am obsessed with trying new bases and I’m becoming pretty good at figuring out if I’ll like something just through reviews alone. I’d always suggest asking for a sample of the foundation you’re interested in trying because that way you can get a few applications out of it and see how it works on you. Without further delay here are a few more…

Jouer Matte Moisture Tint
The name of this tinted moisturiser pretty much gives it all away…it’s a tinted moisturiser that’s matte. BUT it’s not completely matte. The reason why this stuff is so magical is because it does everything tinted moisturisers do (even out skin tone, provide a bit of coverage, moisturise the skin etc. ), but it does this while keeping the shine to a minimum. I don’t have particularly oily skin, but when it’s super hot outside this stuff really does the trick. It’s also available in a Luminous version.

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation
Skin Foundation is so great because like the name suggests, it has a very skin-like appearance. It’s a long wearing formula that feels weightless on the skin, but provides light to medium coverage depending on how you apply it. My favourite method of application with this one is the Beauty Blender because it blends it in seamlessly and it looks like you woke looking #flawless.

Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream
Here’s a great everyday base that I reach for on days when I’m not really doing too much, running errands, or just can’t be bothered with makeup. I just squeeze a bit out and blend it in with my fingertips and watch as my skin tone looks instantly more refreshed. It’s an oil-free formula that brightens, evens, provides sun protection (SPF 30) and is beautiful alone or as a base under mineral makeup.

YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation
The first time I used this foundation I was completely head over heels in love with it. I really love to use this in the colder months because it provides such a beautiful illumination to the skin, which is exactly what I need during those grey days. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, but I personally think it gives medium buildable coverage that still lets natural skin shine through (if you want it to). It’s a great all-rounder foundation because you can really work with it to get the finish you want.

Diorskin Nude BB Cream
The Dior BB Cream is a really raved about product that I also love! The only issue I have with this is that the colour match isn’t ideal for me. Because of that I find myself choosing other things over this one, but it’s a great formula regardless. I don’t have too much experience with BB Creams, but this is definitely my favourite one that I’ve tried because it feels super light, looks extremely natural, but sorts out redness and uneven skin tones. I also really love the slim packaging it comes in!
